Come experience not one, but TWO Royal National Theatre recorded performances of Mary Shelley's
Frankenstein, starring Benedict Cumberbatch (
12 Years A Slave,
Star Trek: Into Darkness,
Sherlock) and Jonny Lee Miller (
Trainspotting,
Mansfield Park).
On Wednesday, October 29th at 7:00, Cumberbatch will play Dr. Victor Frankenstein and Miller will be Frankenstein's creature, and on Thursday, October 30th at 7:00, their roles will be reversed as Cumberbatch plays the creature and Miller as the creator, Dr. Frankenstein!
You don't want to miss Nick Dear's adaptation that The Daily Mail called “memorable production [that] will doubtless be spoken of for years to come”
This production from 2011 was a total sell-out during the live performances, and according to the National Theatre Live website, "The broadcast has since become an international sensation, experienced by almost half a million people in cinemas around the world."
If you want to be part of those lucky people who get to experience these enthralling performances, then join us in the Estep Multimedia Center inside ECU's University Center at 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 29th AND Thursday, October 30th.
General Admission is $10/show and Students can experience these performances for only $5/show.
